Lounge and Bar

Dining at Cedar Manor

Restaurant at Cedar Manor

We have two lovely lounges at Cedar Manor. Our larger lounge also has the bar, and the smaller is where we welcome you into the Hotel. This lounge also features local arts, crafts and jewellery. They are both ideal to relax in, pick up a guide book and research your walks, drives and exploration in the Lakes, or just unwind at any time of the day.

Devine food at Cedar Manor

Begin the evening with pre-dinner drinks in one of our lounge’s or perhaps outside in the garden. The Lakes are now full of micro-breweries and we have a great selection of local ale’s and lagers selected from some of our favourite South Lakes places, including the Winster Valley Brewery .

The Lake District is also known for Damson Gin, this is also stocked in our bar from Cowmire Hall also in the Winster Valley. This area, along with the Lythe Valley are known as the Damson Valleys. There is even a Damson festival every year in mid-April. Gin production doesn’t stop here, we also stock Langtons, Bedrock, Lakes Gin’s, all from the North Lakes, and even Vodka is distilled from Lake District spring water, you will find Lakes Vodka and Standing Stones Vodka in the bar.

We hope you enjoy a relaxing pre-dinner drink (or afternoon or after dinner).

During the Day

Apart from having a drink from the bar, we also serve some lighter bites such as Morecambe Bay Potted Shrimps, Sandwiches, Cheese on Toast, a delicious home-made scone with jam and cream served with Farrers Tea or Coffee.

We also serve Cappuccino, Latte and Hot Chocolates. There is a range of other snacks and lighter bites also available from our lounge menu.
