Valentines Evening

Valentines is a special evening at Cedar Manor Hotel, and we have prepared a special menu to mark the occasion.  We will serve this over from Friday 10th through to Tuesday 14th February inclusive.  (Why not stay the night on the 14th to save driving home?  See our very special offer below...)

We will start the evening with canapes, then take a leisurely 4 course dinner in our very romantic award winning candlelit restaurant.

Starters

Smoked Chicken Bang Bang

Avocado Roquefort and Walnut Salad
with a honey mustard dressing

Beetroot Marinated Salmon
with celeriac remoulade

Pumpkin Mousse
light curry cream sauce, toasted pumpkin seeds

Hanoi Prawn Cakes
and a chilli dipping sauce

 

Main Course

Vanilla, balsamic and honey roasted Duck
sauté potatoes and vegetable ribbons

Seabass
poached in coconut milk with Thai greens

Cambodian Marinated Beef
with a lime and black pepper dipping sauce

Noisettes of Lamb

Pear Frangipane
with a light liquorice espuma

Nutmeg Custard
cardamom doughnuts and raspberry jam sorbet

To make your evening a very specail occasion why not arrive on the 14th and enjoy the afternoon at the hotel, or take a short stroll to the Lake or village.  Take dinner, perhaps enjoy some Deutz Champagne, fine wines and of course an award winning dinner.  Don't worry about driving home or taking a taxi, stay over, relax and look forward to a delicious Cumbrian breakfast on the 15th.
