Check-In and Check-Out Times?
You're welcome to check in from 3pm until midnight, though please ask if you need to arrive earlier or later. Check-out time is 11 am.
Where to find us.
We are just off the A591 in the heart of the Lake District National Park, just ¼ mile from Windermere Village, ½ mile from the Lake and the railway station.
Do you offer car parking at the hotel?
Yes, it is free and we have spaces for everyone visiting the hotel. We also have an electric car charging point here in our grounds.
Is there WIFI at the hotel?
Yes - its free to use for hotel guests
Do you have a bar?
Yes, our very well stocked bar is available from Midday to 11pm for residents. We have a good selection of local bottled ales, lagers, wines, spirits and soft drinks.
Can I bring my pet?
Sorry, we don't allow pets in the hotel. We do have several very good dog-sitters, so if you did want your dog with you on the fells and are happy to board them overnight we can assist with this.
Are you family friendly?
We are not able to accommodate children under 10 years old in any of our rooms or suites.
We do have extra beds available for children/adults aged 10 and above in several of our rooms, please contact us to discuss.
No rooms can accommodate more than 3 people.
Can we get married at the hotel?
We are next to St Mary’s Church in Windermere and can cater for exclusive and private weddings holding up to 24 guests. Please note that we're not taking any wedding bookings at present, but please see our mini-moon page for details of our 3-night honeymoon package.
Can we hire the entire hotel for a private function?
Yes. With 10 rooms Cedar Manor is ideal for family parties, we regularly hold events for 30th, 40th right up to 100th birthdays.
The Confusion about Bed Sizes
- All over the world terms such as king, superking, queen, double and twin have different meanings. Here is the Cedar Manor version:
- Double – a 4’ 6” wide bed
- Twin – 2 x single 3’ wide beds
- King – a 5’ wide bed
- Super king – a 6’ wide bed
