A beautiful Suite, with sitting room, bedroom and ensuite with spa bath and walk-in shower.
This is named after a fine viewpoint. Just behind the hotel, the summit gives spectacular views of Windermere, the mountains of the south and central Lakes, the Pennines and Morecambe Bay. This small fell sparked Alfred Wainwright’s interest in the Lake District in 1930 when he was just 23. Now Wainwright is a legend and many come to follow in his footsteps. Orrest Head is an easy 20-25 minute walk from the Hotel.
The Suite is 26.5sq m/285sq ft and faces north, looking down on our Alpine Garden and the rear of the Hotel. The suite comprises 3 separate rooms.
The first is a lovely sitting room with settee, small window seat, large flat screen tv, Nespresso and wifi. (We can add a single bed for a child or an adult; please enquire prior to booking.)
The bedroom has a king size canopy bed, dressing table, flat screen tv and a safe.
The en suite has a spa bath and separate walk-in shower.
